X contests deserve a submission layer

To Elon Musk and the X team,

Every day, people launch contests on X. They publish a brief, ask creators to post their work, and invite the world to participate. The conversation lives on X—but the submissions end up scattered across replies, quotes, mentions, and hashtags.

Organizers have to hunt through posts or maintain spreadsheets. Participants cannot easily see the full field. Great work gets lost in the timeline. Contests are already an important behavior on X; they are simply missing a shared place for entries.

This is already happening on X

X has organized contests through @XCreators and @imagine. Communities such as @PsyopAnime and @BurnieSendersX are doing the same.

That is why we built submytX. The content never leaves X: every submission is still an X post, owned by its creator and open to the public conversation. submytX adds only the missing structure—a clear brief, one gallery of entries, comparable engagement, and a place to showcase winners.

This can make contests easier for creators, communities, and brands while sending participation and discovery back to X. It turns an existing behavior into a format people can actually navigate.

Our ask is simple: consider giving contests a native submission layer on X. submytX is a working demonstration of the idea and the need behind it. If it helps inspire a better contest format for creators, communities, and brands on X, it has done its job.

The contests are already happening. We are building the layer that helps everyone see them.
